Release notes 5.4.1

Version 5.4.1 of the Oxford Mosaic platform was released on 29 June 2023

New features

  • Newly-created content now defaults to a single-column layout, which is the recommended structure for simplicity and ease of migration (see recent article "Future-proofing your Mosaic site"). Existing content will not be changed, and no layout options are being removed.

  • The process of deactivating and deleting sites has been improved:

    • Deactivated sites now display an information message on the login page at /user explaining why users can't log in 
    • Text of automated emails arising from the deactivation process has been updated
    • Site records are now anonymised once sites have been deleted

Following the withdrawal of Google's Universal Analytics,

  • The calculation of charging tiers now excludes page visits as a charging metric
  • The 'Site statistics' tab has been removed from Site Settings
