Mosaic 2 Project update

The Mosaic service is adding another content management platform in order, eventually, to replace Mosaic 1. In November and December 2022, we gave a number of presentations to Mosaic site owners and editors to update you on the Mosaic 2 project.  The purpose of the presentations was to tell you more about:

  • The background to Mosaic and how we got here
  • Where we are now
  • Why we need a new platform and how this will happen

If you didn’t manage to make it to one of the presentations, not to worry:

  • We have recordings from 3 of the sessions available below (apologies the 28/29 November sessions for Research Groups and Departments were not recorded).  Apart from the chat/questions raised, each session has the same content, so please choose whichever one you prefer.
  • The slides are also available for you in the Oxford Mosaic User Community file store

To access the presentations and slides you will need to be a member of the Oxford Mosaic User Community [Joining code: gzr4gnp]

The Mosaic 2 project is still in its early stages. We will continue to update you in the new year and keep you fully informed as to what is happening and when, and how the changes will effect you.

Meanwhile, you can find further information about the project, including FAQs, on our page here: Mosaic: The Next Generation
