Drupal has announced Drupal 7 end-of-life will now be extended to 5 January 2025. This is a final extension.
What does this mean for Mosaic?
We will continue to benefit from the community support of Drupal core maintainers, the Drupal Security Team, and organisations and volunteers who contribute to Drupal 7 issues. The extension underlines the importance of Drupal 7 worldwide. Although we would always have been able to rely on support from the vendor once the original end-of-life date had been reached, the extension will provide a smoother service and releases the Mosaic team’s time to focus on other workstreams. You can be reassured of continuing robust platform security and issue resolution.
What happens after 5 January 2025?
Although Drupal community support will reduce, we will be supported by the vendor.
